We went to Namhae to have oysters but we couldn't find any oysters restaurant so my hubby asked me where's the best place to visit in Namhae. Because my hubby likes sports so I suggested to visit Namhae Sports Park. He was so happy when I mentioned the park. He was so grateful that I reminded him about the park so it was our first destination in Namhae.
I remember this picture. I already posted it here on my last visit to Namhae Sports Park. It looks like the superman who helped a guy.
This nude lady is so cute. She looks innocent with wonderful poise.
Too bad that the park is under renovation. The baseball stadium is messed up unlike before that there were even players playing. But the park will look great when it's done because I saw that the workers work hard and there are lots of new things to expect for. My hubby said he would probably go back there after winter.
The stadium and some area of the park are messy but the beauty of it still remains specially the beautiful view.
There's also a big hotel at the park so you don't need to worry for your accommodation just in case that you wanna stay there for a night. The hotel has also a beautiful view of the sea.

Aewol Soccer Stadium
What my hubby likes the most in Jeju are the soccer stadium or sports grounds. Most of them have real grasses specially in school playgrounds. One of my hubby's favorite is the Aewol Soccer Stadium. It is wide and it has real grasses. We usually go there on weekends to exercise, play baseball or badminton.

It was under construction when we last go there. They are trying to make it more beautiful and more comfortable and more attractive for players or visitors like us.

The area where you can watch the players playing or just go inside to exercise. There are lots of sports machines inside.

Here are some of the machines that you can use to exercise for free.

Here's the library building where we borrow books. You can just read books if you don't want to exercise, play games or watch sports games.

Next to the building is a gymnasium where we usually play badminton when it is windy outside. If you are interested, you can even join a badminton club.

We love the sports ground except the man who told my hubby to pay if he wants to play soccer. Ouch! Is that true? He must be crazy! I think that guy wants to make money from us. The stadium is for public use so never pay if you happen to meet that guy. That's what my hubby told him and he didn't say anything. We'll pay if we'll use the lights like those who practice soccer but we never did.

Jeju 2002 FIFA Worldcup Stadium
It was new when I first came here. That was in June 2002. After 9 years, I came back again here in Jeju Worldcup Stadium located in Seogwipo City.
There was a match when we went there. But we came early so we didn't them played. The stafffs including the sports announcers were preparing for the game to start. I don't know if the game was free but we went inside without paying anything. Btw, I think I saw an ad that the tourists can enter the stadium for free.
The stadium looks old now but the entrance where the worldcup players remembrances were collected and displayed. It's so wonderful to see some stuffs used by the players during the 2002 Worldcup Game.
Look! Isn't it so cool? There are lots of stuffs displayed.
Clothes with signatures of the players.
The players signatures in frame.

Jeonju Worldcup Stadium
Whenever we go to another City and passed Jeonju, the Jeonju Worldcup Stadium always catches out attention. We can see it even when you are just on the expressway. It's so beautiful specially at night. Last time, hubby and I decided to visit the eye-catching stadium.
The stadium is very close to the toll gate. As soon as you paid and passed the tollgate, you can already see it. Here's view on the way to the worldcup stadium.

Even when it was too cold, we tried to get in but we couldn't find any open door at the entrance. They were all closed. We saw one and went in but that was a Sauna at Jeonju Worldcup Stadium. We thought there was a match to see because of many cars parked at the parking lot but we couldn't see any. Were they all Sauna customers? We can't say.

Korean Basketball League
During our vacation (that was last week), we went to Jeonju to watch Basketball game. It's my first time to watch Korean Basketball League. I don't like sports but my hubby does. But I don't think he likes basketball because I can't see him watching it on tv. One time, we talked about going to the Basketball Stadium so we did.

We arrived there early so here's what we saw. The rehearsal and the players stretching before they will face the battle.

They show on tv so here are the reporters and writers.

Before the opening, the dancers/cheerers show their talents. They are so sexy and cute.

During the game, that I always take a photo of them so the security guard came to me and asked me not to take a picture during the game. hehehe...

I had so much fun watching the game specially the audiences. The stadium was full.

There were also lots of events like games, raffles, dances, free stuffs, and here's what I like the most. The proposal time!

I enjoyed the game so much. It's really far different when you watch on tv and in person. Even when you don't like sports, you will feel like joining the cheering for the players. I don't have favorite players but I cheered for KCC Jeonju. KCC Jeonju Fighting!
By the way, the game started at night so we decided to have Shabu Shabu before we entered the basketball stadium.

Worldcup Stadium
A memorable experience happened when we went to the Worldcup stadium in Daejeon.

When we went inside, there was a man taking some pictures of the stadium and when he went out, he locked the door. He made fun of us! We went around the stadium and looked for an exit but we couldn't find it. We stayed inside for a long time waiting for someone to come in, or at least a worker but nobody came.
We were hopeless and there was no choice but to call 112. Yes! Hubby called the police. hehehe... After a few minutes, the officer came and opened the door. Whenever we think of that experience, we just laughed. Well, that's a memorable experience, isn't it?
