We went for a drive again and we happened to see this forest in Jangseong. Actually it wasn't our intention to visit a forest. While driving we saw a signboard going to the campsite but we couldn't find it so when we saw a forest, we stopped by, got out of the car and took a walk, instead.
Here's the forest.
The trees are too high and it's a great place to get some fresh air and for a walk. I think it's just close to the campsite because we saw the sign again on the left side of the forest but the path is too narrow so my hubby doesn't want to go that way because he's afraid that his new car would get some scratches. We also saw some tents that are set in the street. I guess, those campers lost their way or didn't like the path either.
Anyway, here's another beautiful picture of the forest.
Btw, on our way home, near to the forest, there are also some new guesthouses, just in case that you don't have or don't want to stay on a tent.

Bangjangsan Recreation Forest
We went camping again. It's our second time to Bangjangsan Recreation Forest. The first one was on Chuseok. The time when there were not many campers and ajassideul (old guys) were already drunk. They made much noise so we decided to leave the camp site. But today, it's perfect. Not so many campers because it's still cold.

The campers were quiet and it was too bright at night. We didn't need to turn on our lamp because the light refects in our tent. Whie sitting on one of the empty decks next to ours, I saw this squirrel in its house coming in and out. It's so cute!

It also has a wonderful road. You don't need to climb up the mountain to take a walk because following the road is already an interesting things to do.

There's also a seminar room that looks so nice.

In the garden are lots of beautiful flowers. Ah, it's a really wonderful camp site.

There's also an open air learning or studying area.

Bangjangsan Recreation Forest has a nice and clean restroom and wash area. The water is also clean that you can use it as drinking water.

Recreation Forest in Hwasun
Besides from the fresh air and good environment, here's what we can enjoy at Anyang-san Recreation Forest.
On the way to the forest are beautiful white mountains covered with snow.

The road is beautiful but narrow and dangerous because you have to climb up and down the mountain. But you'll enjoy every sights going to the forest.

Here's the forest. Isn't it more beautiful with snow? We walked around. There's 20, 30 and 50 walks it depends on where you want to reach. But it took us almost two hours to go back to our cabin because of the snow. We walked slowly and carefully.

In the forest, there are mushrooms plantation. I didn't know that they were mushrooms if I didn't see the signboard. I thought they were cut down to use as fire or coal. Pardon me. It's my first time to see mushrooms plantation.

Inside the forest is this resting area. We didn't see anyone walking. I don't know if it's because it was too early to get up and take a walk or because of the cold weather and snow.

And here's the dancing bridge next to the mushrooms plantation.

Bangjangsan Recreation Forest
It was a holiday last Friday because of Liberation Day. We just stayed home all day long so we've decided to go out on Saturday morning. As what I have said here, our next camp would be next month but because it rained last Friday so we thought it was the perfect weather for a camp.
We arrived at the campsite around 10 a.m. and the place was already crowded. There were many people waiting for others to leave so that they can get a better place. Unluckily, there was no place for us at the deck area to build the tent so we had no choice but to use the wet grass area. We wanted to go home but we were already there, besides the area is cool and great for a picnic, the reason why there were many people from the morning.
Instead of going home, we asked some newspaper at the information office and covered the ground. We had a great time here at the mountainous campsite.
Except from mountain climbing, there are also lots of fun things to do here. There are swimming pools, playground, valley, or just feel and sniff the fresh air at the forest.
Here are the tents from the deck area, grass area and near the swimming pools.
We left the campsite early morning because my sister in law called on Saturday night and said she's coming to our house with her friend who got married when we were in Australia. We felt sorry for her so it's time to treat her and also time to meet her husband.

Bamboo forest (Daenamu)
Daenamu (Bamboo forest) is located in Damyang. I love this way going to the forest.

And here's the information guide that we see at the entrance.

Damyang bamboo park is a theme park landscaped with bamboo. Stroll into the forest of bamboo trees and you will be greeted with clear and aromatic air that resembles that of deep scent of bamboo trees. Relax yourself and free your mind inside the bamboo forest.

The forest paths are surrounded by bamboo trees stretching high into the sky.

Inside the forest is this area that is a good place for a picnic.

The Bamboo Theme Park is a filming site for many movies, including Sword in the Moon (starring Choi Min Soo and Jo Jae Hyun) and Blue Swallow (starring Kim Joo Hyuk and Jang Jin Young), as well as TV dramas, such as Summer Scent (with Song Seung Hun and Son Ye Jin) and Damo (with Ha Ji Won and Lee Suh Jin).

And there are shops that sell stuffs which made of bamboos.
