Daenamu (Bamboo forest) is located in Damyang. I love this way going to the forest.
And here's the information guide that we see at the entrance.
Damyang bamboo park is a theme park landscaped with bamboo. Stroll into the forest of bamboo trees and you will be greeted with clear and aromatic air that resembles that of deep scent of bamboo trees. Relax yourself and free your mind inside the bamboo forest.
The forest paths are surrounded by bamboo trees stretching high into the sky.
Inside the forest is this area that is a good place for a picnic.
The Bamboo Theme Park is a filming site for many movies, including Sword in the Moon (starring Choi Min Soo and Jo Jae Hyun) and Blue Swallow (starring Kim Joo Hyuk and Jang Jin Young), as well as TV dramas, such as Summer Scent (with Song Seung Hun and Son Ye Jin) and Damo (with Ha Ji Won and Lee Suh Jin).
And there are shops that sell stuffs which made of bamboos.

Nokchabat (Green tea plantation)
Nokchabat (Green tea plantation) is another famous place in Korea located in Boseong. Nokchabat in Boseong was often used as the backdrops of movies, TV dramas and TV advertisements. One of these is the summer scent, starring Song Seung Hun and Son Ye Jin.
I've been here once with my hubby, in laws and some relatives. It was out of our plan. We just dropped by on the way to hubby's aunt house so i couldn't take some pictures because my digicam wasn't with me.
One time, hubby asked me where i wanted to go so i didn't get a second thought to say that i wanted to see Boseong nokchabat again.
Here's the view on the way to nokchabat.
We see these trees near the gate.
I don't remember how much we paid for the admission fee but here's the view inside.
Tea bushes ascend the contours of the surrounding hills, rising in regular curves.
It's really awesome but interrupted only by the odd tree and a few small tombs.
Of course there are stores inside selling green tea flavoured products ranging from soap, noodles and rice cakes to ice cream . I'm not a big fond of green tea but i love ice cream so i bought this.
Here's also a scenic view outside the plantation.

Cheonghakdong
My mom in law called on the phone and said that she saw on tv a good place to visit. She was talking about Cheonghakdong.
Cheonghakdong Village, located at the southern foot of Samsanbong Peak on Mt. Jirisan, maintains the traditional style ... Cheonghakdong is one area where no harm was ever done under any circumstances in the turbulent history of Korea. Here's the view on the way to Cheonghakdong.
There are many korean traditional houses and some people who live there have long beard.
I couldn't take any picture of them but here's a tile wall with a picture of a man with long beard.
Cheonghakdong is famous for koreans because some parents send their children to learn Korean traditional manners while staying over at Cheonghakdong Village. Here's the school where they teach good manners to students.
I think most traditional places in Korea have this kind of trees. Koreans said that they send the bad spirits away.
And here's a museum. The wall is made up of stones. Click the picture to enlarge.
