1. The Monashees, British Columbia

It has been said that some of the best heli-skiing in the world can be found in British Columbia, especially in the Monashees. Here the terrain is famously “steep and deep,” getting about 66 feet of snow each season. Two-thirds of the runs here go right through old forest with well spaced trees, offering some spectacular terrain. On average, skiers who stay for about a week will descend at least 100,000 feet, so have fun.

2. The Andes, Chile
